Each pigment must be packed carefully and safely. Everybody who has ever handled paints knows: Paint at the wrong place is not longer an ornament but simply trouble.

We sell our pigments in PE and paper bags with filling weights from 1 to 25 kg. Big Bags up to 1.000 kg are also a standard which our customers like to use. For special requirements we also fill drums and containers with liquid or powder paint.

Increasingly popular types of packaging are water-soluble paper bags and water-soluble foil bags. A packaging weight adapted to your formulation enables you to dose quickly, reliably and cleanly in dust-critical environments or directly at the construction site.

With our various systems we are able to pack, repack or simply neutralize smaller and larger quantities at low cost. We would be pleased to advise you on your individual problem and prepare an offer that will satisfy you.

One of the biggest challenges in pigment production is to achieve the necessary fineness of the particles. The fact, that it is mainly a "dissolving of the agglomerates" is only mentioned in passing. The different pigments with their special properties require specific grinding plants. We concentrate on iron oxides and similar products.

With our grinding plants we can obtain a wide range of the necessary special product properties from the raw materials. In addition to iron oxide pigments, we also successfully manufacture carbon-based products (activated carbon, carbon black pigments etc.) on our mills. We also are able to grind manganese ores and mica.

If you have a grinding challenge, please contact us. Also for the grinding of smaller lot sizes or a "quick test" we surely have an appointment free... ...or we can free one up at short notice.

We are looking forward to your very special grinding challenge and their solution.

A demanding branch of production is the manufacture of high-quality pastes with our FERROXON pigments. Only a suitable coordination of the grinding process and additives can ensure optimum dispersion of the pigments and a stable quality for storage.

With the new micronised pigments and our proven know-how, we can produce a wide range of solvent-free preparations with our systems. The adjustment to your application is a demanding challenge, which we would like to face.

Each colour has its own unique spectrum. The evaluation of a colour is the prerequisite for successful mixing and adjustment of a pigment template.

We are prepared for the solution of such tasks with our colour measurement technology and our high-performance mixing systems. It is our daily bread to mix the sometimes quite problematic iron oxides and to produce homogeneous colours with constant quality and uniform tone of colour. With our mixing technology we are able to produce even problematic pigment combinations safely and reproducibly. Our batch sizes range from 0.5 to 10 cbm and can certainly help you, to obtain a reliable final product with which you and in then end your customers will achieve the best results.

One approach to prevent the accumulation of dust in your plant and to simplify the dosage of the stubborn pigments is to make a liquid preparation of the products. The pigments are dispersed and stabilized with suitable additives in a dissolver or also in a conventional stirrer, filled into drums or containers and transported to the customer.

Schlieper & Heyng is actually a convinced manufacturer of powder pigments, but we also had to find out that there are very convincing arguments for producing such "slurries" and thus being able to offer the customer considerable benefits. The advantages alone in terms of the entry of the pigments into the preparation and significantly improved distribution during the mixing process represent a considerable gain in time and convenience.

For this reason, we have also reintroduced this product range into our production process and offer our entire product range as a service as a liquid preparation. Of course we also process titanium dioxides, pigment blacks, manganese etc. according to your specifications. You provide us with the raw material, if necessary with a recipe, and we make a slurry from it. No problem. Although we naturally prefer to use our own pigments.
